Jiepu Jiang (Chinese: 姜捷璞) is a Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science at the College of Information and Computer Sciences, University of Massachusetts Amherst. He works with Professor James Allan at the Center for Intelligent Information Retrieval (CIIR). He also holds a Ph.D. degree in Library and Information Science from the School of Information Sciences (iSchool), University of Pittsburgh, where he worked with Professor Daqing He at the IRIS lab. He received his M.S. in Information Science, B.S. in Electronic Commerce, and B.S. in Computer Science from the School of Information Management (iSchool) and the School of Computer Science at the Wuhan University.

Jiepu's research interests span information retrieval, text mining, and human-computer interaction. He has published over 30 articles in venues such as SIGIR, WWW, WSDM, CIKM, and JASIST. His work has been awarded the best student paper at CHIIR 2017. He has served as a PC member and reviewed for many conferences and journals in his research areas.
